Who Founded TIGP — The International Glamour Project?
Dr. Swaroop Puranik is the Founder and Managing Director of TIGP — The International Glamour Project (TIGP Productions Pvt Ltd). An alumnus of IIM Calcutta, a 5-time Ironman triathlon finisher, and a TEDx speaker, Dr. Puranik envisioned a women-only pageant platform in India that would go beyond domestic titles — connecting Indian women directly to international pageant stages in the USA, Fashion Week runways in Paris, New York, and London, and brand endorsement campaigns with companies like L’Oréal, Matrix, Colgate, and Baggit. Under his leadership, TIGP has awarded 26+ international titles since 2021 and is headquartered at Parinee Crescenzo, BKC, Mumbai 400051.
Dr. Akshata Prabhu is the CEO and Creative Director of TIGP. She is the first Indian woman to win the Ms International World title in 2021 — a milestone that brought international recognition to Indian pageantry. Dr. Prabhu is the architect of the Queen’s Programme, TIGP’s comprehensive 25-area training curriculum that covers ramp walk technique, public speaking, personal branding, camera confidence, grooming, fitness, and international stage preparation. The Queen’s Programme has produced a near 100% career outcome success rate — placing TIGP contestants into modelling, brand campaigns, film, television, and international pageant stages.
What Programmes Does TIGP Offer?
TIGP operates three national pageant programmes from its BKC Mumbai headquarters:
- Miss Teen India (ages 13–19) — Structured confidence training, ramp walk, personal development, and early career exposure for teenage girls. Parents’ registration guide.
